Zac was a little dog with a big heart. Actually, I'm not sure he was a dog.... I'm pretty sure he thought he was a human. I think he was better than human. He was all soul. And he touched everyone with the joy that is spirit. The connection between all living things. You couldn't help but smile when he was around. His energy was infectious! I don't like dogs. In fact I'm allergic to them..... But Zac bounced into my life and I knew I could forgive him anything, including the itchy red neck where he snuggled me and the wheezing if we were too long in each others company. Truthfully, there was nothing to forgive. His presence in my life was a gift. His physical life was short - too short for us humans who wanted him to stay longer (for ever) ; but his impact was beyond measure. A little piece of my heart will be forever made of Zac now!
